to preserve, to educate, to entertain
Travel back in time at historic Billie Creek Village. From one of the country's best Civil War Re-enactments to classic car shows to
Christmas in the Village.
There are entertainment and educational opportunities
the year-round.
School Days In May make the village available to
schools throughout the Midwest each Thursday and
Friday in May.
Everyone comes away from Billie Creek Village
with a favorite pioneer activity or authentic
early 20th century building. The village animals
are always a favorite with the children. Amiable
goats and sheep graze the village barnyards
during the open season along with horses and the occasional
mule.
The village is open daily
from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day as
well as all ten days of the annual Parke County
Covered Bridge Festival. The Covered Bridge
Festival is held each year from the
second Friday in October through the third
Sunday. Billie Creek Village is also open during
special weekends during the annual Parke County
Maple Fair that takes place on the last Saturday
and Sunday in February as well as the first
Saturday and Sunday in March.
